How to get to Santa Caterina Valfurva:
by car:
- From Milan following the main road called "statale 36" (Milan - Lecco- Colico) then following directions for Bormio (S S 38 – Sondrio - Tirano)
- . From Brescia following the Aprica pass
- From Switzerland, from Alto Adige, Austria or from Germany go via Livigno or across the swiss border at Tirano
- From the provincial road over the Gavia Pass (OPEN ONLY IN THE SUMMER)
- From Alto Adige over the Stelvio pass (OPEN ONLY IN THE SUMMER)
public transport:
By train from Milan direct to Tirano which is the end of the line then by bus up to Santa Caterina
by plane:
During the winter season there is a bus service to Santa Caterina from Milan Malpensa airport , Milan Bergamo Orio al Serio, and Munich airport. For information visit:

When you get to Bormio follow the signs for S. Caterina Valfurva which is 13 km.
